Our Story
Tyler Pitt founded Seven Generations Build Group to put up structures that stand the test of time.
The name comes from a simple idea: build to a standard that still serves the people who come along seven generations from now, and leave the community better than you found it. That is a high bar for a deck or a bathroom, and it is meant to be.
In practice it means three things. The finished product has to be functional as well as professionally built. The relationship has to outlast the invoice, which takes real communication. And some of what we earn goes back into the place we work.

Design & Build
We handle the design and the construction, coordinating every trade under one schedule

Installations, the paint job at the end, and a final walkthrough before we hand the space back

We work throughout the Triangle. That covers Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Wake Forest, Fuquay-Varina, Knightdale, Garner, Clayton and Zebulon, along with the surrounding area. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside that, call and ask.
Yes. Seven Generations Build Group is a licensed firm with the North Carolina Board of General Contractors, and we are members of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh & Wake County. Being licensed also means we pull the permits and meet the inspectors on your project rather than leaving that to you.
No. Estimates are free and there is no obligation to proceed. We would rather spend an hour telling you a project is not worth doing than take it on knowing it will disappoint you.
Residential remodeling and renovation, kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, decks, screened porches and three season rooms, custom homes, Category 5 homes and barndominiums. On the commercial side we handle upfits, tenant improvements, office expansions, restoration, painting and custom carpentry.
We do. A typical project runs from an initial consultation, through a plan built around your wants, needs and budget, into design and construction, the installations, and the paint job once the building work is finished. One firm carries it the whole way.
