We remodel kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, basements and attics, and we take on whole-home renovations where several of those happen at once.

What the work covers

Every renovation starts with a conversation about scope. We walk the house with you, work out what is realistic for the space and the budget, and put together a plan before anyone picks up a tool.

From there we handle the design, the construction, the installations and the paintwork at the end. Because we are a licensed general contractor, the trades on your project answer to one schedule rather than to you.

Older homes often hide surprises behind the drywall. When we find one, you hear about it the same day, along with what it means for the cost and the timeline.

What areas do you serve?

We work throughout the Triangle. That covers Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Wake Forest, Fuquay-Varina, Knightdale, Garner, Clayton and Zebulon, along with the surrounding area. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside that, call and ask.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Seven Generations Build Group is a licensed firm with the North Carolina Board of General Contractors, and we are members of the Home Builders Association of Raleigh & Wake County. Being licensed also means we pull the permits and meet the inspectors on your project rather than leaving that to you.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates are free and there is no obligation to proceed. We would rather spend an hour telling you a project is not worth doing than take it on knowing it will disappoint you.

What kind of work do you take on?

Residential remodeling and renovation, kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, decks, screened porches and three season rooms, custom homes, Category 5 homes and barndominiums. On the commercial side we handle upfits, tenant improvements, office expansions, restoration, painting and custom carpentry.

Do you handle the design as well as the construction?

We do. A typical project runs from an initial consultation, through a plan built around your wants, needs and budget, into design and construction, the installations, and the paint job once the building work is finished. One firm carries it the whole way.
